Faith Through Imagination
Second is beginning a creative weekly opportunity for young people on Sunday mornings. Kids of all ages will gather in the large upstairs classroom at 9:45 for a time of creative activity based on scripture.
Sam Bull, who has been serving in our Nursery for several months, is a recent Virginia Wesleyan graduate (art & religious studies). Sam and Alexis Bolin, our other wonderful SPC Childcare Specialist, will lead this group. Nancy Morgan has agreed to work with Sam, Alexis and our pastoral staff to get this new program up and running.
We realize that after a busy week of school and an often equally as busy Saturday, it might be tough to get moving on Sunday morning. In an effort to make this timeframe accessible to everyone, we’ll even feed you if you show up between 9:15 and 9:30 on Sunday mornings in September!
