Parents' Groups
So many of us live incredibly busy lives where we are constantly trying to juggle time to include our jobs, our families, our faith and so much more. The reality is that all of these things are important. How then do we manage to devote time to everything without cheating someone or something? According to Andy Stanley, the author of “Choosing to Cheat”, we can’t!
Starting on September 8th at 4P, our Parent’s Small Groups will meet to begin discussing Andy’s fascinating book and ways that we might discern how to best allocate our time. We will have two separate groups. We’ll continue last year’s small group made up of the parents of younger children (infant through elementary aged kids). We’ll also add a new group which will target the parents of middle and senior high young people. The new group will be led by Bill & Pam Reed and Roz & John Klein.
Since our sessions will be based on Andy’s book, parents are encouraged to purchase a copy in advance. They are available at the church for $10 each. All chapters are less than ten pages long and very easy to read. You can actually read a chapter in 10 – 15 minutes! We will cover one chapter per month.
