Billy is a lifelong Presbyterian. He was baptized at Simonsdale Presbyterian Church in 1954; confirmed at Cradock Presbyterian Church a decade later; and ordained as an Elder in 2000.
Billy served on the SPC Session from 2000 until 2003 before accepting a call as the Administrator at Norfolkâs First Presbyterian Church in 2004.
He returned to Second Pres as the Director of Congregational Ministries in 2007. He completed his studies at the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary in 2010 to become a Commissioned Lay Pastor.
In 2010, he also completed studies to become a Certified Church Administrator through Union Seminary.
Billy lives in Chesapeake with his wife, Loretta, and their two wonderful sons.
